Charlie Hoyle is the University of Alabama at Birmingham men’s head golf coach, leading the Blazers in the American Athletic Conference. A seasoned collegiate‑golf lead, Hoyle emphasizes player‑development, a strong team‑first culture, and a demanding practice environment. Under his direction UAB continues to balance conference‑level competition with a growing national‑recruiting profile, aiming to position the Blazers among the top programs in the AAC and at the edges of NCAA‑regional‑level contention.

Women's Coach Bio

McGarry comes to UAB after a highly successful six-year stint at Division II Glenville State University which includes three straight Mountain East Conference Championships in 2022, 2023 and 2024. The 2023 MEC Coach of the Year, McGarry had an overall coaching record of 311-148-2 and guided his teams to record-breaking performances which includes a school record 18-hole score (293), 36-hole score (596) and 54-hole score (916).
