Men's Coach Bio

Mike Masten was hired in August 2023 as head men's golf coach at Saginaw Valley State after four seasons leading NAIA Aquinas College to multiple WHAC top-3 finishes and 10 All-WHAC honorees. A golf industry veteran with teaching and professional experience, he guides Cardinals through GLIAC Midwest Region events from Ryder Center base.

Women's Coach Bio

Mike Masten directs SVSU women's golf (national #92 rank) since 2023, bringing NAIA success from Aquinas where women earned eight top-3 finishes. With assistant Matt Pumford (mepumfo1@svsu.edu), he pursues GLIAC contention and DII Midwest Regionals through 15-round spring schedules from University Center.
