Men's Coach Bio

Erik Hoops is Loyola University Chicago men’s head golf coach and Director of Golf, leading the Ramblers in the Atlantic 10 Conference at the NCAA‑Division I level. A 2012 Loyola graduate and four‑year letterman, he entered his 11th season in 2024–25, helping guide the men’s program through the transition from the Missouri Valley to the A‑10. Hoops emphasizes fundamentals, course‑management, and a strong competition schedule aimed at building a competitive, student‑centered team.

Women's Coach Bio

Brandy Johnston is Loyola women’s head golf coach and Director of Golf, leading the Ramblers in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Entering her fourth season in 2025–26, she previously led Carthage College women’s golf to conference titles and a top‑25 national ranking. At Loyola, Johnston has earned the first‑ever A‑10 Women’s Golf Coach‑of‑the‑Year honor and stresses fundamentals, short‑game work, and strong team culture within a high‑academic, A‑10‑level environment.
