"I love Hofstra’s Long Island‑near‑the‑city vibe, how easy it is to get involved in clubs and events while still having a suburban‑style campus, but from a past‑student view I’ll say the parking hassle, the sometimes‑slow‑paced weekends, and the way the commuter‑heavy days could make campus feel uneven were all more noticeable once I stopped just visiting and started living there."
