Named head coach in 2021, he has guided the program with a strong, competitive schedule and a focus on player‑development and scoring‑oriented play. Huffman emphasizes technical‑skill refinement, mental‑toughness training, and a demanding practice culture that has kept Butler consistently competitive at the Big East Championship and on the NCAA‑postseason‑periphery.

Christie Cates is Butler women’s head golf coach, directing the Bulldogs in the Big East Conference.
