Trake Carpenter is University of Nevada, Reno men’s head golf coach, leading the Wolf Pack in the Mountain West Conference. Named to the role in 2022, he previously served as head coach at the University of Denver and as an assistant at Stanford and Marquette, helping guide teams to strong national‑level results. Carpenter emphasizes a challenging national schedule, elite‑recruiting, and a purposeful, progress‑driven culture aimed at making Nevada a consistent MW‑championship and NCAA‑Regional contender.

Women's Coach Bio

Kathleen Takaishi is Nevada women’s head golf coach, directing the Wolf Pack in the Mountain West Conference. In her 12th season with the program, she has led the team to multiple top‑five finishes at the Mountain West Championship, including a third‑place result in 2024–25, the program’s second‑best ever at the event. Takaishi focuses on fundamentals, scoring‑oriented play, and a disciplined practice environment that has steadily improved Nevada women’s national‑ranking and postseason‑aspirational profile.
