Men's Coach Bio

Zach Barlow is the University of Michigan men’s head golf coach, named the 10th head coach in program history in 2019. He arrived from Illinois, where he had been a key assistant, and brings a strong recruiting and technical‑development focus to the Wolverines. Under Barlow, Michigan has remained competitive in the Big Ten with a challenging national schedule, emphasizing a high‑level practice environment and NCAA‑regional‑level contention.

Women's Coach Bio

Jan Dowling is Michigan women’s head golf coach, entering her 13th season with the Wolverines in 2025–26. She has transformed the program into one of the Big Ten’s premier women’s teams, guiding Michigan to eight NCAA‑postseason invitations and four NCAA‑Finals appearances, including a program‑best 16th‑place finish in 2017. Dowling emphasizes player development, a strong team culture, and a competitive schedule to keep the Wolverines at the top of the conference and national rankings.
