Men's Coach Bio

Daniel Hayden is in his sixth season as head men's and women's golf coach at UA Fort Smith. He earned Heartland Conference Coach of the Year (2018) and Golf Pride Grips NCAA DII South Central Region Coach of the Year honors that year, leading the Lions to a runner-up conference tournament finish. Previously, he coached at University of Texas at Brownsville (women's runner-up in 2014) and University of the Southwest (men's No. 17 NAIA ranking in 2009), with extensive junior tournament experience in the Sun Country Region.

Women's Coach Bio

Daniel Hayden leads both UA Fort Smith golf programs in his sixth year, securing Heartland Coach of the Year (2018) and NCAA DII Region Coach of the Year awards while guiding four straight conference tournament appearances. His prior roles include strong finishes at UT-Brownsville (women's conference runner-up 2014) and a top-20 NAIA men's team at University of the Southwest. He also directed junior events in New Mexico and Texas.
