Women's Team Notes

Spartan women won UNCG Collegiate (298-293-294) dominating par-3s/par-4s, led by Baeumken's T3 (218). Low Country Intercollegiate (313-306) and Golfweek Fall Challenge course record 271 at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club advanced contention with 31 birdies and top par stats.

Men's Coach Bio

Terrance Stewart is UNC Greensboro men’s head golf coach, leading the Spartans in the Southern Conference. He has guided the program through a strong, nationally‑based schedule that consistently prepares UNCG for the SoCon Championship and NCAA‑Regional contention. Stewart emphasizes fundamentals, scoring‑oriented play, and academic excellence, fostering a culture that has earned the team Golf Coaches Association of America All‑Academic Team recognition and kept the Spartans competitive within the SoCon year in and year out.

Women's Coach Bio

Ashley Leonard is UNC Greensboro women’s head golf coach, directing the Spartans in the Southern Conference. Named to the position in 2019 (later reaffirmed as head coach status), she brings prior experience as a successful head coach and assistant athletic director at Barton College, where her teams were recognized for sportsmanship and academic success. Leonard focuses on fundamentals, short‑game development, and a team‑driven environment that has produced multiple top‑five finishes and steadily improved finishes at the SoCon Championship.
