Men's Coach Bio

Josh Edison, a Springfield native, was named head men's golf coach at UIS in 2025 after serving as volunteer assistant (2023-24). He previously led Illinois College (2022-24) and launched Heartland Community College's inaugural program (2020-22). Under his guidance, the Prairie Stars compete in GLVC events like UIndy Fall Invitational from the Springfield campus.

Women's Coach Bio

Josh Edison directs UIS women's golf since 2025, building on prior head coaching at Illinois College and Heartland CC program startup. A local returnee with volunteer assistant experience, he leads the Prairie Stars—three-year NCAA regional qualifiers—through GLVC Championships and regionals, supported by assistant Julie Hofmanova from Springfield.
