“I love UCR’s diverse, laid‑back campus, how many clubs and events feel like real community‑building, and the easy access to LA and Inland Empire internships, but from a past‑student view I’ll say the car‑dependent campus layout, some under‑funded student‑support spots, and the occasional lack of big‑name‑hype can feel a bit different than the glossy UC‑system expectation once you’re actually living it every day.”

Men's Coach Bio

Nathalie da Silva was named Director of Golf at UC Riverside in October 2025 and oversees both the men’s and women’s golf programs. Da Silva arrived in Riverside after serving as the head coach for both the men’s and women’s teams at the University of La Verne, where she led the Leopards beginning in 2022. Before her time at La Verne, she was an assistant coach at her alma mater, California Baptist University, while also working as a golf professional at Victoria Club in Riverside.
