Men's Coach Bio

Connor McCarthy was named head men's golf coach at Shorter University in February 2021 after serving as graduate assistant. A 2020 Shenandoah kinesiology graduate pursuing MBA in sport management and PGA certifications, he elevated Hawks to Golfstat NCAA DII rankings and regional contention in Conference Carolinas through strong recruiting and development.

Women's Coach Bio

Leading Shorter women's golf since 2021, Connor McCarthy applies his Shenandoah background and PGA training to build competitive depth, highlighted by all-conference honors like Abbie Cheney's. From the Rome campus, he directs dual programs toward Conference Carolinas success and NCAA regionals with emphasis on academics and holistic athlete growth.
