Men's Coach Bio

Brandt Kieschnick is Sam Houston State men’s head golf coach, leading the Bearkats in the United Athletic Conference. A former Sam Houston golfer and professional, he has guided the program through a strong, national‑level schedule and conference‑championship‑level success. Kieschnick emphasizes fundamentals, scoring‑oriented play, and a demanding practice environment, helping maintain a competitive culture that has produced multiple conference‑qualifying and NCAA‑level‑contending seasons.

Women's Coach Bio

Brandt Kieschnick also serves as Sam Houston State women’s head golf coach, overseeing the Bearkats in the United Athletic Conference with the same head‑golf role used for the men’s team. He brings a professional‑golf‑level perspective and experience from helping direct both programs through the Southland and now UAC era. Kieschnick focuses on technical‑skill development, short‑game work, and team‑driven growth aimed at steady improvement in the conference and national‑ranking landscape.
