The 2023-24 season marked the seventh season that Lance Hancock has been the head coach of the Point Loma women's golf team. In 2023-23, Point Loma posted its best-ever finish at the NCAA Super Regionals, finishing fifth, while Alli Kim became the first Sea Lion ever to compete at the NCAA Championships. Kim was named PacWest Player of the Year and a WGCA First Team All-American, ranking as high as No. 3 in NCAA Division II according to GolfStat in scoring average.
