Men's Coach Bio

Coach Bud Tate is in his third year as the head men’s and women’s golf coach at NGU. Prior to that Coach Tate spent 10 years as the men’s and women’s golf coach at Ohio Valley University, a NCAA DII school in Parkersburg, WV. Last year Coach Tate led the NGU women’s team to their first ever Conference Carolina’s Championship, and in the process was named the Conference Carolina’s Coach of the Year.

Women's Coach Bio

Bud Tate leads North Greenville women's golf, Marietta College alum directing Crusaders through Conference Carolinas schedules including Fall Kickoff (14th/17), NGU Intercollegiate, and Cherokee Valley Spring Bash (3rd/10). With GA Trey Cauthan, Tate develops program from Tigerville base targeting postseason at Grand Harbor Classic and Cutter Creek Championships.
