Sylas Elliot is Jacksonville State men’s head golf coach, leading the Gamecocks in Conference USA. Hired in 2024, he came from Wallace State Community College, where he built a strong junior‑college program and developed numerous NCAA‑Division I‑bound players. Elliot brings a player‑development‑focused approach, emphasizing fundamentals, short‑game work, and a competitive schedule aimed at re‑establishing JSU men’s golf as a regular C‑USA‑championship‑level and NCAA‑postseason‑eligible program.

Women's Coach Bio

Robbie Fields is Jacksonville State women’s head golf coach and Director of Golf, guiding the Gamecocks in Conference USA. He previously served as an assistant at East Carolina and Mississippi State, helping coach multiple All‑Conference performers and contributors to NCAA‑level success. Fields emphasizes a strong team culture, academic excellence, and a rigorous tournament schedule, working to elevate JSU women’s golf into a consistent postseason‑caliber program within C‑USA.
