Doug Holub is Director of Men’s and Women’s Golf at Fairfield University, leading the Stags in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference at the NCAA‑Division I level. He oversaw the men’s program’s 2025 MAAC Championship victory and the team’s first‑ever NCAA‑Championship‑appearance‑as‑a‑squad. Holub has earned multiple MAAC Coach‑of‑the‑Year awards and emphasizes fundamentals, course‑management, and a strong academic‑athletic culture that keeps Fairfield competitive both on the course and in the classroom.

Women's Coach Bio

Doug Holub also serves as the head‑program leader for Fairfield women’s golf, guiding the Stags in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. He has led the women’s team to multiple MAAC‑level finishes and individual‑title successes, earning several MAAC Women’s Coach‑of‑the‑Year honors. Holub, supported by assistant coach Sara LaTerza, focuses on fundamentals, short‑game development, and a disciplined team‑driven environment that balances high‑level competition with strong academic and personal‑development goals.
