Men's Coach Bio

Jason Owen has led CSU Monterey Bay men's golf since 2008, securing the 2011 NCAA DII National Championship in his third season plus six straight tournament wins that year. A 10+ year program builder, Owen guided Otters to seven Super Regionals and five National Championships through 2018, maintaining elite national rankings via CCAA dominance and elite West Region performance.

Women's Coach Bio

Jim Ragan heads CSU Monterey Bay women's golf since December 2018, bringing 21 years of elite D1 experience from Texas (assistant), Vanderbilt, Oklahoma (head coach 2000-09), and UC San Diego. A PGA member since 1992 with Titleist Performance Institute certifications, Ragan develops Otters through CCAA schedules targeting championships at venues like Pueblo and Stockton while emphasizing biomechanics and fitness.
