Men's Coach Bio

Tom Shaw is Abilene Christian men’s head golf coach and Director of Golf, leading the Wildcats in the Western Athletic Conference. In his 12th season (2025–26), he has guided the program to multiple tournament titles, including the 2022 WAC Championship, and built a strong, nationally‑based schedule. Shaw emphasizes fundamentals, scoring‑oriented play, and player development, helping position ACU men’s golf as a consistent WAC‑championship‑and‑postseason‑level program.

Women's Coach Bio

Rob Bennett is Abilene Christian women’s head golf coach, directing the Wildcats in the Western Athletic Conference. He started the program from scratch and led it in its first competitive season (2023–24), winning three tournaments including the school’s very first event. Bennett focuses on fundamentals, short‑game work, and a disciplined team culture, building a young but ambitious program that has quickly become a rising, competitive name in the WAC.
